Balance Exercise Therapy is a specialized form of physical therapy designed to improve an individual’s ability to maintain their equilibrium and stability. This type of therapy is especially important for people who are at risk of falling, recovering from injuries, or experiencing conditions that affect their balance and coordination.

Heat Therapy, also known as thermotherapy, is a therapeutic treatment that involves applying heat to specific areas of the body to relieve pain, relax muscles, and improve blood circulation. It is widely used in physical therapy and rehabilitation to promote healing and reduce discomfort in muscles, joints, and tissues.

Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation is a medically supervised program designed to help individuals recover and improve their overall health after heart or lung conditions. The program combines exercise training, education, lifestyle modification, and emotional support to optimize recovery and improve quality of life.

Hip Pain Therapy is a specialized form of treatment aimed at relieving pain, improving mobility, and restoring function in the hip joint. It is tailored to address various conditions, injuries, or chronic pain affecting the hip, enabling patients to regain strength, flexibility, and independence.

Knee Pain Therapy is a specialized treatment designed to address pain, inflammation, and functional limitations in the knee joint. It focuses on strengthening the muscles around the knee, improving flexibility, and reducing inflammation to restore mobility and enhance overall joint health.

Post-Surgical Rehabilitation is a specialized program designed to help patients recover and regain function after surgery. The goal is to restore mobility, strength, and independence by addressing the effects of the surgery on the body, whether it’s a result of orthopedic, cardiac, or other types of surgery. This therapy focuses on healing tissues, reducing pain, and preventing complications, ensuring a smooth and effective recovery process.

Shoulder Pain Therapy focuses on restoring strength, flexibility, and range of motion to the shoulder joint, which can be affected by conditions such as rotator cuff injuries, tendonitis, bursitis, or arthritis. The therapy combines targeted exercises to strengthen the muscles around the shoulder, improve joint mobility, and reduce pain or inflammation. It may include stretching routines, strengthening drills, manual therapy, and posture correction techniques to enhance function and prevent future injuries. The goal is to help individuals regain full use of their shoulder for daily activities and sports while minimizing discomfort and stiffness.

Therapeutic Exercise involves a set of targeted physical activities designed to improve mobility, strength, flexibility, and overall physical health. These exercises are customized to address specific conditions, injuries, or recovery goals, helping to restore function and reduce pain. By improving muscle strength, joint stability, and coordination, therapeutic exercises help prevent future injuries and improve the patient's quality of life. Whether used for rehabilitation after surgery, managing chronic conditions, or enhancing athletic performance, therapeutic exercises are an essential part of many treatment plans to promote healing and long-term wellness.

Vestibular Rehabilitation is a specialized form of therapy designed to treat balance issues caused by inner ear disorders, such as vertigo, dizziness, or unsteadiness. The therapy focuses on exercises that help retrain the brain and the vestibular system (the part of the inner ear responsible for balance) to better process sensory information and restore stability. Techniques may include head and eye movement exercises, posture and balance training, and functional activities that help reduce dizziness and improve coordination. Vestibular rehabilitation is commonly used for conditions like benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV), vestibular neuritis, or Meniere’s disease, helping patients regain their balance and reduce the risk of falls.

Physical Therapy is a treatment approach aimed at improving mobility, relieving pain, and preventing injuries. It involves a combination of exercises, manual therapy, and education to help individuals recover from injuries, manage chronic conditions, and improve overall physical function. Physical therapists assess the patient’s specific needs and create personalized treatment plans to target problem areas, increase strength, flexibility, and coordination, and promote long-term healing. By addressing the root causes of pain and dysfunction, physical therapy enables patients to regain independence, enhance performance, and reduce the risk of future injuries.

An electrophysiology study (EP study) is a test used to evaluate your heart's electrical system and to check for abnormal heart rhythms. Natural electrical impulses coordinate contractions of the different parts of the heart. This creates the heartbeat, or heart rhythm and keeps blood flowing the way it should. During an EP study, your healthcare provider inserts small, thin wire electrodes into a vein in the groin. (Or neck, in some cases.) Your provider then threads the wire electrodes through the vein and into the heart. To do this, your provider uses a special type of live X-ray “movie,” called fluoroscopy. Once in the heart, the electrodes measure the heart’s electrical signals. Electrical signals are also sent through the electrodes to stimulate the heart tissue to try to cause the abnormal heart rhythm. This is done so that it can be evaluated and its cause can be found. It may also be done to help evaluate how well a medicine is working. During the EP study, specialists in heart rhythms or an electrophysiology specialist may also map the spread of the heart’s electrical impulses during each beat. This may be done to help find the source of an abnormal heartbeat..
